Missing Pelican Park Grandmother: Maureen Peskin Disappears

A Pelican Park family is desperately seeking help in finding their missing grandmother, Maureen Peskin, 73, who vanished two weeks ago during a short walk home from her cousin’s house. Peskin, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was last seen on March 25, 2026, and her family is growing increasingly concerned for her safety.

According to her son, Edward Williams, Peskin was last seen wearing a floral jersey, navy blue track pants, and slippers. The family has searched extensively, including Pelican Park, Phumlani Village, and Grassy Park, but so far, there has been no sign of her. Williams explained that his mother still remembers her name, surname, and address, but this is the first time she has gone missing.

The police are investigating Peskin’s disappearance, and Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed that the investigating officer is following up on all leads to reunite the missing person with her family. Anyone with information is urged to contact Sergeant Gregory Kleinhans on 079 894 1307 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
