MaXhosa Africa is set to unveil its Autumn-Winter 2026 collection, SIYI’KULTURE, at the highly anticipated MXS Kulture Festival in Johannesburg. The collection, meaning “We Are Culture”, features elevated silhouettes and carefully considered textures, creating pieces that reflect both heritage and contemporary style.

After making viral moments at Paris Fashion Week, MaXhosa Africa will bring its unique blend of culture and fashion to the MXS Kulture Festival, which promises to be a cultural and educational experience with fashion, food, and music coming together in one place.

What to Expect at MXS Kulture Festival

The festival, now in its fourth year, brings together lovers of MaXhosa Africa, dressed in their favourite items from one of Africa’s most influential brands. A day filled with connecting and enjoying performances from South Africa’s top artists is topped with a fashion show at sunset.

According to Laduma Ngxokolo, Founder and Chief Creative Director of MaXhosa Africa, “At the festival, the fashion show is one of the defining moments. Presented just before sunset, the latest collection is unveiled on the runway, allowing both us and the audience to experience the creativity and craft as it comes to life.”

SIYI’KULTURE Collection

MaXhosa Africa’s Autumn-Winter 2026 collection, SIYI’KULTURE, explores how South African cultures influence global culture, from traditions to music and dance. The collection blends elements from multiple cultures within South Africa, celebrating diversity while showing how culture can evolve and be worn in a modern way.

As South African culture continues to make waves globally, MaXhosa Africa’s SIYI’KULTURE collection is a testament to the country’s rich heritage and creative expression. With the City of Johannesburg as the backdrop, the MXS Kulture Festival promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Some of the notable performers at the festival include DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, DJ Tira, Makhadzi, Yanga Chief, DJ Kabila, and Fistaz Mixwell. The event will take place at the Toadbury Hall Country Hotel in Johannesburg.
