National police commissioner General Fannie Masemola has welcomed the reappointment of Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi as the KwaZulu-Natal provincial police commissioner on a five-year fixed-term contract. The South African Police Service (SAPS) confirmed the reappointment, which follows consultation with the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Thami Ntuli, as outlined on the South African Government website.
