A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of City of Cape Town councillor Lazola Gungxe, who was shot dead in Nyanga last month. Western Cape Serious Violent Crime detectives arrested the suspect on Friday, March 6, and he is expected to appear in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Monday, March 9.
